Message After a post earlier of mine, about which one was better...JWT, or the Doolz intake, I came to two conclusions. One is that the JWT has a higher flowing capacity, b/c of the piping size on two seperate pipes, as apposed to the x pipe design, but it does have (in some cases), low speed drivability issues, since only one MAS reads one side of the intake. Second thing I found out is that on the other hand, the doolz, does not have low speed drivability issues, but once you begin to push for serious hp numbers, the intake may not be able to flow enough air to the engine, cause of the x pipe size.

I was wondering, if this would work with the JWT intake system...T solve the lowspeed drivability issues, wouldn't it just be easy to weld a pipe connecting the two pipes that make this kit together, just some where behind the MAS? Wouldn't this solve the low speed issue? If so, then I would much rather do this, cause #1, I will be able to flow enough air in my engine when I do my engine build this summer, and #2, spending $500 for a polished intake pipe and a filter is just rediculous to me.

I am just curious if this is right or if I am completely wrong...let me know please guys. Thanks.

Thanks,
Mike
